The "fox" logo has been around an awful long time. Almost as long as its predecessor
programming language dialect, dBase.
There was dBase II, III and then IV. There was something called "Clipper" and
"Quicksilver" - two popular compilers in the early years of DOS platform.
When the Windows platform became popular in the late 80's and early 90's; ten years
ago now, Foxpro was the leading dBase dialect to move to same.
Then it happened - Microsoft decided to add Foxpro to its family of programming tools
in March, 1992. Almost three years later, Microsoft introduced its first version
of a "Visual" Foxpro with "object-oriented" properties and extensions and methods.
