Let me tell you a few things important for you to know
about Frank Picchione, The WizardMan. Frank has been
a computer programmer and systems analyst for some 30+ years having
served at the Pacific Hqs in Honolulu with Federal Civil Service
counterparts, ie, ".. somebody had to do it." An "earlier comer"
to the micro field in the early 80's, Frank became an advisor to one
of the most influential database programming products available for
programmers on micros, Ashton-Tate and dBase.
The dBase dialect has still remained the dominant programming
language through such enchanced third-party vendors as Fox Software,
the developers of Foxpro; acquired by none other than Microsoft
in early 1992, ten years ago. Foxpro has evolved into the
Microsoft developer product line as Visual Foxpro which combines
many technical features for the programmer not found anywhere else, and
32-bit (remember - technical stuff.)
Frank began writing a software wizard to manage
the dealer inventory in 1998.
Shop Las Vegas is a spin-off of that software application.
Today, Shop Las Vegas and Frank Picchione designs prototypes to meet the
specific requirements of each dealer. Projects range from
a simple modification of the base software system to elaborate changes
required by dealer management.
